Cookies and local storage used in CareerPassport AI

This page explains the small pieces of browser data the product uses to keep sign-in secure and the experience stateful across sessions.

Essential cookies

CareerPassport AI uses essential authentication and session cookies to let users sign in, maintain secure sessions, and protect sensitive account routes.

Functional browser storage

The app also uses local browser storage for workspace features such as drafts, reflections, passport data, saved searches, recent activity, and other user-controlled state that makes the product faster and easier to use.

Third-party feature requests

When you run live-data workflows, the app can call external providers for jobs, company data, geocoding, benchmarking, or AI generation. Those integrations are triggered by product actions rather than ad-tech tracking.

What is not the goal

The current product is built around application functionality, not behavioral advertising. If that changes in the future, this policy should be updated to explain the new cookie categories and controls.

How to manage cookies and storage

You can control cookies from your browser settings and clear browser storage when needed. Be aware that removing essential cookies or app storage may sign you out or remove saved local workspace data.
